I am by nature a truly creative person requiring projects that satisfy my innate desire to design beautiful spaces and objects. Gardening and garden design are my summer month’s passions however here in Northern California, rather cold and wet winters compelled me to find a new design love. So, five years ago, I started collecting beads and learning varying beading techniques. Through endless trial and error, I developed my personal designs, an out-of-control bead collection and consequentially a treasury of bracelets and necklaces I needed to find homes for…hence, an Etsy store, artisan fairs and now my website.

As a double entendre, my business name has the first meaning of my heart logo shell found on a beach in Baja, Mexico, being stranded here in Northern California, along with the literal meaning of my new passion, the stranding of singularly beautiful beads and gemstones into timeless, artistic jewelry. I create from the heart and want my designs to be everyday beauties my clients treasure and love to wear.
